Wakimbizi means ‘the fleeing man’

Members of the Wakimbizi project meet regularly and seek to extend Christian friendship to displaced people.

Wakimbizi is a not for profit organisation  – a group that assists refugees to settle in Perth, Western Australia.

It also supports Anyuak people in Kenya and in their homeland in South Sudan which has been devastated by civil war.

There are several projects and sponsorship opportunities for you to get involved with to help in a variety of different ways – an investment in Africa’s future.

Current projects include:

• Settling and maintaining support to refugee families in Perth
• English tuition in Nairobi
• Education sponsorship in Sudan
• Community development, infrastructure and small business development in Sudan
